Individuals study complex interventions to assist patients to promote, maintain, and restore homeostasis, with an emphasis on common health problems that are more likely to result in acute illness and/or surgical interventions. Clinical hours are completed through a combination of on-campus activities and off-site clinical experiences, primarily in acute care facilities.
