The Digital Media/Multimedia Technology Program prepares students for initial employment as multimedia managers, communications systems managers, or audio/visual production managers. It is also designed to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in these occupations.

The curriculum includes, but is not limited to, the study of management skills that permit the graduate to oversee the operation of institutional and industrial multimedia operations. Instruction includes production analysis, the design and production of multimedia graphics, the photographic creative process, multimedia management, and the application of production skills to solving problems relating to the integration of multimedia. The program maintains an underlying emphasis on skills relating to professionalism, employability, communication, and management.

Students who score below the required levels on state-mandated placement tests in writing, reading, and mathematics must enroll in and complete the appropriate college preparatory courses before they enroll in some required program courses.
