Upon completion of the program, the student must pass the Florida State Officer Certification Exam before receiving provisional certification. This certification is required for employment as a correctional probation officer in county and state correctional agencies.
Candidates for this program must submit an application to the Kenneth C. Thompson Institute of Public Safety office.
