The Video Production Certificate provides a comprehensive curriculum that incorporates story development, screenwriting, production, set lighting, video editing, audio editing, and motion graphics to increase engagement and promote the acquisition of essential video-production skills.
Targeted projects and extensive training in the program allow the student to increase expertise, improve technical skills, and expand soft skills. Additionally, each student develops the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, cope under pressure, communicate professionally, apply important interpersonal skills, and use creative problem solving to exceed the needs of clients and complete projects.
The Video Production Certificate may be completed in one or two semesters and is composed of four three-credit courses.
A student who scores below the required levels on state-mandated placement tests in writing, reading, and mathematics must enroll in and complete the appropriate college preparatory courses before enrolling in some required program courses.
