The purpose of the Aerospace Administration Program is to prepare those seeking employment in the aviation, airline, and/or airport fields with the skills and experiences necessary to be successful. A graduate of this program may seek employment opportunities in the federal, state, or local government aviation fields, or find opportunities in entry-level airline customer service, operations, and air cargo jobs, and in low- to mid-level management positions. The graduate may also apply for positions in supporting aviation entities, such as suppliers and service providers for airlines and government aviation agencies. 

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs):
Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate is able to:
PLO1: Employ an understanding of basic aviation terminology and history.
PLO2: Describe and assess efficient and prudent aviation operations practices, limitations, and procedures.
PLO3: Explain pertinent U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Title 14, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
PLO4: Demonstrate appropriate skills and techniques of airline and airport management practices, including leadership, communications, directing, planning and controlling.
PLO5: Explain and evaluate aviation security issues and responses.
PLO6: Describe and demonstrate effective techniques in aviation/airline marketing, customer service/sales/distribution and reservations/ticketing.
PLO7: Demonstrate an understanding of aviation meteorology and basic aerodynamics knowledge.
PLO8: Demonstrate an understanding of aviation safety and human factors, including accident prevention.
PLO9: Demonstrate an understanding of air traffic control procedures and policies.
PLO10: Demonstrate an understanding of air cargo operations and procedures.
