Books and Supplies

The cost of books and supplies varies based on the program and courses that a student selects. Books and other school supplies are sold in the College bookstores located at the Winter Haven and Lakeland campuses. Polk State College contracts with Barnes and Noble to provide bookstore services. Barnes and Noble accepts most major credit cards and debit cards.

The cost of books for a dual-enrolled student who is from a public or charter school may be covered by the respective school or school board. Information regarding the appropriate dual-enrollment agreement or addendum can be found on the Polk State Dual-Enrollment and Early Admission webpage. Textbook costs are also covered for homeschooling dual-enrolled students when books are obtained through the campus bookstore.
