VIC 2301C - Advanced Multimedia Computer Presentations

2 hours Lecture, 2 hours Lab, 3 credit(s)
Lower-Division College Credit
This is an advanced course in the design and development of multimedia presentations. This course begins with an examination of both the principles of design and technical aspects of electronic presentation development. The focus then shifts to HTML creation using a variety of methods such as text editors, word processors, and dedicated WYSIWYG HTML editors. The course studies the application of HTML documents and Web browsers as presentation tools, and the use of the Web to globally publish interactive information. Throughout the course, students produce individual projects and group projects with real-world focus. Students post personal websites on the Polk State College (PSC) Web server. Proficiency in the use of Windows is strongly recommended for students taking this course.
