This course provides a survey of the use of medical and anatomical terminology including definitions, word constructions, and disease analysis; operative procedures; laboratory, diagnostic, and treatment terms; and abbreviations as reflected in medical documentation. This course is required for Health Information Technology and Radiography programs of study.
