Business Administration and Management (AS to BA/BS/BAS Career Path)

Program: AS-25030

This program prepares students for immediate employment in a variety of business environments or for transfer to programs of further study in business. Graduates may apply this program toward coursework in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management degree program at PSC, or toward a degree in general business administration at a Florida college or university. This program provides a broad study of business administration principles and skills, as well as basic techniques for efficient and effective application of these techniques in business settings.

Students who score below the required levels on state-mandated placement tests in writing, reading, and mathematics must enroll in and complete the appropriate college preparatory courses before they enroll in some of the required program courses.

Students who wish to transfer any credits from this program to another institution must accept the responsibility for securing approval in advance from the transfer institution.

Note: Students who are planning to pursue a Bachelor in Applied Science at PSC should select from the following courses:

LIT 1000 Introduction to Literature*
Any approved Humanities General Education course*

* These courses count toward the additional General Education courses required for the Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management degree at PSC.
