This program prepares students for employment in office management and supervisory positions, with an emphasis in fields such as Legal Administration, Medical Administration, and Office Management Administration. Depending on the specialization selected, graduates prepare for positions such as office managers, office administrators, medical office managers, medical secretaries, medical office assistants, legal assistants, legal office managers, legal secretaries, and other administrative support positions. The Office Administration Program provides opportunities, both for first-time job seekers and experienced employees who wish to advance in their careers. The curriculum provides students with a broad understanding of office administration and management concepts, and provides a strong emphasis on technology, soft skills, and professional development.

Students who score below the required levels on state-mandated placement tests in writing, reading, and mathematics must enroll in and complete the appropriate college preparatory course(s) before enrolling in some of the required program courses.

Students who have successfully completed all parts of the Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) Exam can be awarded 21 credit hours towards the Office Administration Program.
