Emphasizing business intelligence tools and information mining, this program prepares graduates to work as liaisons among company stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.
Through this program of study, students analyze business issues and data challenges and then apply decision-support and business-intelligence solutions for improving work processes for better business decision making. Students gain skills in the areas of business, application programming, database and system design, and web-based technologies. The program allows students to analyze problems using logic and analysis tools, code into computer language, and build and maintain business-intelligence information systems.
