Network Infrastructure Certificate

The Network Infrastructure Certificate is part of the Associate in Science (AS) in Network Systems Engineering Technology degree program. The curriculum consists of a sequence of twenty-one credits of college-level courses that are embedded as part of the AS degree. This certificate program prepares the student for employment. Completion of the requirements provides the individual with the skills necessary to earn industry certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, and Microsoft.

Infrastructure-Related Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs):
Upon successful completion of the certificate, the graduate is able to:

PLO 2: Demonstrate router and switching configuration skills.
PLO 3: Design, configure, deploy, and manage the Microsoft Server Operating System and Active Directory infrastructure.
PLO 4: Design a firewall for network security.
PLO 6: Demonstrate principles related to installation, configuration, account management, and role-based access control; and incorporate virtualization platform policy implementation, compliance, and trust.
PLO 7: Demonstrate proficiency in designing, securing, and protecting network infrastructures.
