This course presents the information and skills necessary to complete the Operating System Technology exam for the Comp TIA A+ certification and prepares students for further studies in the Computer Network Engineering Technology Program. This course includes basic instruction of command line prompt utilities and commands, Windows 9x and Windows 2000/XP installation and configuration. Students study how to troubleshoot and repair microcomputer operating systems faults.
