COP 1000 - Introduction to Programming 3 hours Lecture, 3 credits Lower-Division College Credit Prerequisites: Placement at the college level or completion of required college preparatory courses in mathematics; and CGS 1061 or CGS 1100 AA Elective: Yes This course discusses the design of structured programs and related problem-solving techniques. Students survey programming languages and environments including BASIC and C++. Hands-on labs are used to reinforce class work.
