The Rooms-Division Management Certificate prepares the participant for employment in various positions involving hotel and resort management, including front desk manager or guest relations manager. The content includes, but is not limited to, hospitality organization and function, performance of general hotel duties, front office management, use of a property management system, and effective selling techniques. Credits earned can be applied toward the Associate in Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management degree program.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs):
Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate is able to:
PLO 1: Identify the major sectors of the hospitality industry and discuss their interaction.
PLO 2: Formulate and analyze hospitality industry marketing strategies including targeting, positioning, and consumer behaviors.
PLO 3: Discuss the specialized needs of marketing within the hospitality industry.
