AML 2010 - Survey of American Literature: Colonial Period to the Civil War 3 hours Lecture, 3 credit(s) Lower-Division College Credit Prerequisite(s): ENC 1102 This course provides a study of major American writers, their philosophies, and works. This course studies the Colonial period, the Neo-Classical period, and the Romantic period and concludes with the Civil War. This course may be taken in sequence with Survey of American Literature: Post Civil War to the 1960s (AML2020) or individually.
