ART 1511C - Landscape Painting

Prerequisite(s): ART 1300C or Permission of Instructor
Using the Alla Prima technique, students will learn the traditional method of landscape painting. This outdoor painting course will focus on the color ramifications inherent in the careful observation of light and form. Emphasis will be placed on color, rapid decision making, and the constant adjustment that outdoor painting demands. Participants will be encouraged to do two paintings per class, with an emphasis on individual instruction.
