CET 2628C - Cisco Internetworking Troubleshooting 4 hours Lecture, 3 credit(s) Lower-Division College Credit Prerequisite(s): CET 2620C or current CCNA Certification Instruction in this course includes troubleshooting techniques; troubleshooting media, hardware, and booting; troubleshooting desktop and enterprise routing protocols including TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol), IPX (Internetwork Packet Exchange), EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol), OSPF (Open Shortest Pathway First), and BGP (Border Gateway Protocol); troubleshooting switches including Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) and Spanning Tree Protocols (STPs); and troubleshooting serial lines and Wide Area Networking (WAN) connections including dial up connections, Integrated Services Digital Networks (ISDN), and Frame Relay connections. Students install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot complex-routed LAN and WAN switching networks.
