Program: AAS-A5267
The A.S. and A.A.S. Computer Network Engineering Technology degree program prepares students for careers as Network Administrators, Network Engineers, and Network Specialists. This program provides students with the skills necessary to plan, design, implement, and administer computer networks of all sizes. In addition to the traditional Microsoft and Cisco offerings, specializations within the program provide opportunities for
students to become proficient in Linux, Network Security, and Wireless Administration and Security. Courses within the program prepare students for industry certification exams offered by Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, CompTIA, the Security Certified Program, CWNP, and CTP. As an active member of the networking community, Polk State College (PSC) is an authorized Cisco Networking Academy, a CWNP Academy and belongs to CompTIA. Additionally, PSC is a Novell Academic Training Partner and a Security Certified Program Partner
