This course prepares students to set up a classroom, establish objective-based lesson plans, utilize various styles of presentation, employ varied teaching strategies, develop and administer various forms of assessment, and integrate the Florida State Standards and Uniform Core Curricula into lesson development. The course also covers methods to establish and maintain cooperative relations with parents, as well as mechanisms to research professional literature for best practices to hone the craft of effective instruction.
