DIG 2341C - Motion Graphics for Digital Media 2 hours Lecture, 1 hour Lab, 3 credits Lower-Division College Credit Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): DIG 2292C AA Elective: Yes This course provides a study of digital post-production techniques used for film, animation, video, digital media, and the web. Students explore fundamental concepts for the creation of three-dimensional motion graphics, lighting, and animation. Students animate still images and explore 2D and 3D space using industry standard workflows. Advanced techniques in digital compositing, sequencing, animation of type, transitions, visual effects, keying, green screening, and computer-aided digital production are introduced. Students integrate finished products with other software applications to create high-quality video output.
