COP 3710 - Database Design and Implementation 3 hours Lecture, 3 credits Upper-Division College Credit Prerequisite(s): CTS 1441 and CTS 2433 AA Elective: No This course provides a comprehensive overview of database management systems. Students study relational and object-relational tools and techniques for data management through relational databases. The curriculum covers relational and entity-relational models, data modeling and normalization, object modeling, Structured Query Language (SQL) and advanced SQL, stored procedures and triggers, database design, and transactions.
