NUR 1010C - Introduction to Nursing

1 hour Lecture, 6 hours Clinical, 3 credits
Lower-Division College Credit
Prerequisites: BSC 2086C and minimum acceptable score on nursing admissions test
This course introduces nursing as a profession, the Nursing Program, and the expectations of the student nurse. The course introduces nursing skills and the legal, ethical, and professional requirements of the student nurse. Clinical hours will be a combination of on-campus activities and off-site clinical experiences.
