CET 2627C - CCNP SWITCH: Implementing IP Switching 3 hours Lecture, 1 hour Lab, 3 credits Lower-Division College Credit Prerequisite(s): CET 2620C or current CCNA Certification AA Elective: No This course focuses on implementing, monitoring, and maintaining switching in converged enterprise campus networks. Students practice planning, configuring, and verifying the implementation of complex enterprise switching solutions. The course also covers the secure integration of Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Wide Area Networks (WLANs), voice, and video into campus networks. Comprehensive labs emphasize hands-on exercises and practice to reinforce configuration skills. Upon completion of this class, the student may take the CCNP SWITCH certification test, 642-813.
