ASC 3474 - Applied Human Factors 3 hours Lecture, 3 credits Upper-Division College Credit Prerequisite(s): ASC 1010 or AVM 1010; and ASC 1210 AA Elective: No This course examines current research on human factors and the safety programs employed in the international aerospace environment. Human abilities, limitations, and other characteristics are investigated with respect to the design of tools, machines, systems, tasks, jobs, and environments. This information is used to demonstrate the processes used to create safe, comfortable, and effective aerospace systems.
