EDE 3223 - Integrating Art, Music, and Physical Education

This course provides the teacher candidate with a foundation in art, music, and physical education instruction for elementary classrooms. Subject-area knowledge and skills are developed as required in state-adopted standards. Emphasis is placed on instructional methodology and lesson plan creation that effectively integrate art, music, and physical education with other subject areas within kindergarten through Grade 6 classrooms. In addition to class meetings, field experiences in a K-6 educational setting are recommended. This course is a Florida (2010) ESOL-infused class.
