This course covers aspects of quality management for suppliers, including strategic aspects in the supply chain; supplier life-cycle management, cost analyses, and reductions; supplier agreements; and governance, ethics, compliance, and risk-management aspects. There is focus on supplier-selection management, product and service qualifications, performance monitoring and improvement, quality-management practices, and relationship management. This course covers information required for the American Society of Quality (ASQ) Supplier Quality Professional Certification.
