SCM 4144 - Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management

This course covers strategic and operational aspects of logistics and supply chain management. The curriculum covers aspects that drive and impact globalization and international trade, as well as the significance of Lean and Agile supply chain strategies, service supply chains, and sustainability practices. The course also focuses on a system’s behavior and design, and the complexity of transportation and distribution networks. The curriculum includes operational aspects of transport, containerization in the global supply chain and trade, global logistics services, international freight-management practices and requirements, and the impacts of digital technologies and automation.
