CJK 0242 - Law Enforcement Auxiliary Investigations 17 Contact hours Vocational Credit Prerequisite(s): Permission of the Program Director This course focuses on the techniques, methods, and considerations necessary in a crime scene investigation including responding, processing, surveying, and protecting the crime scene. The course also addresses the investigation of crimes against people as well as property offenses. Additionally, students discuss various court proceedings and important considerations when providing testimony. Objectives include those established by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission.
