OTH 1800 - Level I Fieldwork 160 hours Practicum, 2 credits Lower-Division College Credit Prerequisite(s): OTH 1001, OTH 2300C, and OTH 1520C AA Elective: No This course provides a survey of unmanned aircraft platforms and common systems with an emphasis on civil applications. Students explore the history and development of UAS (unmanned aircraft systems) platforms, components and functions, regulatory requirements, mission planning for flight operations, and operational considerations. As select UAS technology is controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), proof of United States citizenship is required to enroll in this course.
