CJK 0335 - Responding to Incidents and Emergencies 16 Contact hours Vocational Credit Prerequisite(s): Permission of the Program Director This course studies incidents and emergencies encountered in a correctional setting including medical issues, escapes, riots, hostage situations, natural disasters, and crime scenes. Practical exercises are included to enhance tactical, safety, and survival skills. Objectives include those established by the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission.
