ASC 4630 - Propulsion Fundamentals 3 hours Lecture, 3 credits Upper-Division College Credit AA Elective: No This course explores the theory behind aerospace propulsion systems. Students complete a survey of the history of power plant development, including lessons learned and best practices in the industry. Additionally, students explore the operational theory behind traditional light aircraft engines, transport category engines, propeller-powered and jet-powered flight, as well as current and future power plant research and development. Space propulsion systems are also discussed.
