AVM 4150 - Aviation Business Strategies 3 hours Lecture, 3 credits Upper-Division College Credit AA Elective: No This course investigates management issues including human resources, budgets and grants, marketing, risk management, property management, and concessions as these concepts relate to airports, airlines, air cargo operations, fixed-base operations, fuel facilities, and other aviation businesses. Students apply business management concepts and techniques to decision-making and problem-solving processes, as well as to situations in an airport management or aviation business. Grant applications and their administration are also discussed.
