This course introduces the field of project management, emphasizing proper utilization of project-management techniques in the workplace and focusing on the nine functional areas of a project: scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurement, and integration. The student applies these techniques to initiate, plan, execute, control, and close a project through project-management software.
