The Business Operational Management Program is articulated with the Polk County School Board (PCSB) career centers: Ridge Career Center and Traviss Career Center. It provides the opportunity for students who have completed specific technical programs to pursue college-level coursework that is appropriate for supervisory and management roles, as well as for upward mobility in their chosen fields. Students in this program MUST complete a program of 900-clock hours or more at a Polk County School Board Career Center (Ridge/Traviss). Eligible students are awarded 15 credits toward the technical skills portion of the degree. To be awarded these credits, students must consult with an advisor either at one of the Polk County School Board Career Centers or at Polk State College. Certain courses in this program require placement at the college level or satisfaction of developmental education requirements in reading, writing, and mathematics.
