The Microcomputer Repair and Installation Certificate Program provides the student with entry-level computer service technician skills. The curriculum provides a study of the skills and techniques needed to take the CompTIA A+ certification exams and the Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) certification test. The College’s Comp TIA A+ Certificate Program is sponsored and supported by Comp TIA (Computing Technology Industry Association, Inc.), and the CCENT Certificate Program is sponsored by Cisco. There are no prerequisite courses required for entry into the program.
