The Associate in Science in Computer Systems and Business Analysis degree program emphasizes business-intelligence tools and information mining to prepare the graduate to work as a liaison among company stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. Through this program of study, the student analyzes business issues and data challenges, and then applies decision-support and business-intelligence solutions for improving work processes for better business decision making. The student gains skills in the areas of business, application programming, database and system design, and web-based technologies. The program allows the student to analyze problems using logic and analysis tools, code applications into computer language, and build and maintain business-intelligence information systems.

Certain courses in this program require placement at the college level or satisfaction of developmental education requirements in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs):
Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate is able to:
PLO1: Communicate effectively in both written and spoken format using a variety of communication methods appropriate for the corporate setting.
PLO2: Interact with the Windows operating system to use the hardware and application software of a computer system. 
PLO3: Demonstrate personal computing skills with productivity software applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and database management and presentation software.
PLO4: Develop computer programs using a current, industry-standard computer programming language.
PLO5: Apply standard database functions in the creation of tables, queries, forms, and reports.
PLO6: Demonstrate an understanding of testing protocols and system development lifecycles.
PLO7: Employ business-intelligence tools to improve efficiency in solving business problems.
PLO8: Demonstrate an understanding of general business concepts.
