The Web Production Certificate provides a comprehensive curriculum that incorporates front-end web development, user interaction and experience, web page design, markup and scripting languages, Content Management Systems, and visual design to increase engagement and promote the acquisition of essential web-production skills.
Targeted projects and extensive training in the program allow the student to increase expertise, improve technical skills, and expand soft skills. Additionally, each student develops the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, cope under pressure, communicate professionally, apply important interpersonal skills, and use creative problem solving to exceed the needs of clients and complete projects.
The Web Production Certificate may be completed in one or two semesters and is composed of five three-credit courses.
A student who scores below the required levels on state-mandated placement tests in writing, reading, and mathematics must enroll in and complete the appropriate college preparatory courses before enrolling in some required program courses.

PLO 1: Use web tools, including markup and scripting languages, Content Management Systems, and visual design applications, to edit or create personal, business, and e-commerce websites that incorporate dynamic content and multimedia into professional products.
PLO 2: Produce end-products that comply with copyright guidelines and relevant laws; show commitment to professional conduct and personal ethos; apply best practices to content rights, privacy, and data security; demonstrate appropriate use of social media; and incorporate principles of inclusion and diversity.
