The Logistics and Transportation Specialist Certificate Program prepares the student for initial employment in the Supply Chain Management arena and affords supplemental training for an individual who is currently (or was previously) employed in this field. The program provides a study of the cross-functional skills involved in the planning, acquisition, flow, and distribution of goods and services. The courses contain rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards, relevant technical knowledge, and the skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics career cluster.
Certain courses in this program require placement at the college level or satisfaction of developmental education requirements in reading, writing, and mathematics.
