Program: AS-25271


The Associate in Science in Network Systems Engineering Technology (NSET) degree program with specialization in Infrastructure (AS-25271) prepares students for careers in designing, building, and maintaining network  infrastructures. The program uses a combination of hands-on activities and state-of-the-art simulators to provide training across a wide range of skills valued by the information technology (IT) industry. Students with different levels of experience work together to create a learning environment conducive to mastering the latest networking technologies. Courses within the program prepare students for industry certification exams across a broad range of disciplines from CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, and Palo Alto.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs):
Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate is able to:
PLO 1: Demonstrate fluency with router configurations, concepts, and protocols.
PLO 2: Demonstrate LAN and WAN design concepts and configuration skills to include IP addressing services.
PLO 3: Demonstrate application of wireless concepts and configuration.
PLO 4: Demonstrate fluency with network maintenance, support, security, and troubleshooting applications.
