A College-Credit Certificate (CCC) consists of a program of instruction of less than sixty college-level credits that are part of an Associate in Science or Associate in Applied Science degree program. This CCC program prepares the participant for entry-level employment (Florida Administrative Code Rule 6A-14.030).
The Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Motors for Manufacturing Certificate Program provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards, relevant technical knowledge, and necessary skills that prepare the individual for further education or a career in the manufacturing career cluster. It emphasizes technical-skill proficiency and contributes to academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning, problem-solving skills, general employability, technical adaptability, and occupation-specific skillsets across all aspects of the manufacturing field.
The content includes, but is not limited to, maintenance techniques, technical communication, maintenance and operation of various industrial components, quality control and testing, materials-handling protocols, and proper usage of tools and instrumentation.
