The Airline Management Certificate is part of the Associate in Science (AS) in Aerospace Administration degree program. This curriculum consists of 18 credits of college-level coursework embedded as part of the AS degree. This condensed certificate program prepares an individual for a career in airport operation and management.
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs):
Upon successful completion of this program, the graduate is able to:
PLO 1: Appropriately apply basic aviation terminology and history.
PLO 2: Describe and assess efficient and prudent aviation operations, practices, limitations, and procedures.
PLO 3: Explain pertinent requirements of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Title 14, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
PLO 4: Incorporate airline management practices, including leadership and communications, as well as directing, planning and controlling operations.
PLO 5: Demonstrate aviation and airline marketing, customer service and sales techniques, distribution skills, and reservation and ticketing applications and abilities.
