The Airport Management Certificate is part of the Associate in Science (AS) in Aerospace Administration degree program. This curriculum consists of 18 credits of college-level coursework embedded as part of the AS degree. This abbreviated certificate program readies an individual for a career in airport operation and management. The curriculum prepares the student to take the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Exam in Airfield Operations.

PLO 1: Appropriately apply basic aviation terminology and history.
PLO 2: Describe and assess efficient and prudent aviation operations, practices, limitations, and procedures.
PLO 3: Explain pertinent requirements of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Title 14, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
PLO 4: Incorporate airline management practices, including leadership and communications, as well as directing, planning, and controlling operations.
