This program is designed to prepare the student for further education and a career in accounting and business administrative support. The curriculum prepares the individual to enter the workforce as an accounts payable coordinator, bookkeeper, credit and collections coordinator, or payroll coordinator. The curriculum for this certificate is embedded in the Associate in Science in Accounting Technology degree program; credits from the program can be applied toward attainment of this degree.
Certain courses in this program require placement at the college level or satisfaction of Developmental Education requirements in reading, writing, and mathematics.
