ATF 2210L - Commercial Pilot Flight 1 hours Lab, 1 credit Lower-Division College Credit Prerequisite(s) or Corequisite(s): ATT 2110 and Permission of Instructor AA Elective: No This course provides a study of the skills needed to safely exercise the privileges and responsibilities of a commercial pilot. The student applies information regarding commercial flying regulations, flight safety, commercial operations, navigation systems, chart use, weather conditions, flight planning, aeronautical decision making, and resource management. The student must complete the appropriate flight lessons and pass the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Commercial Pilot Practical Exam to satisfactorily complete the course. Flight training fees (in addition to the cost of tuition) are required and must be paid in advance of the course start date. Flight training costs for this course are based on 120 hours of flight training and 30 hours of ground training and preflight/postflight briefings. Any additional training required beyond the FAA minimum is the financial responsibility of the student.
