CHD 1380 - Facilitating the Development of Young Children 3 hours Lecture, 3 credits Lower-Division College Credit AA Elective: Yes This course prepares an individual to organize and sustain a developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. The participant explores topics and activities related to scope and sequence, themes, physical environment (indoors and outdoors), routines, transitions, behavioral management, social skills, art, science, math, language arts, literacy, dramatic play, music and movement, working with families, and professional development.
Note: A grade of C or better is required to pass this course.
