CHD 2220 - Child Growth and Development 3 hours Lecture, 3 credits Lower-Division College Credit AA Elective: Yes This course provides a study of the growth and development of the child from conception through the primary years including children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. The curriculum includes a discussion of the influences of health, safety, nutrition, and the behavior of others on the development of the child. This course also examines the theories of development.
Note: A grade of C or better is required to pass this course.
