This course is the first in a series of three clinical practicum experiences and introduces direct patient care. The course involves individual student assignments to local outpatient clinical facilities where the student treats patients under the supervision and direction of a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant. The focus is on applying skills obtained during previous courses while developing professionalism.
