This is the third course in a series of three clinical practicum experiences. The course involves individual student assignments to local clinical facilities. The student treats patients under the supervision of a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant in various types of delivery systems. Additionally, this course includes scheduled class meetings to review clinical performance objectives, the self-appraisal process, and overall requirements. A clinic-based or in-service project is required. Weekly online discussion forums facilitate critical thinking, peer review, and management of clinical situations.
