This course provides an overview of the law enforcement techniques and tactics that officers use while on patrol, including introduction to the use of communications equipment, community-oriented policing, and officer-safety and survival skills. The curriculum covers proper responses to non-criminal calls, structure and area searches, and resources that officers use while on patrol.
